New Projector

Just an update...Jerry and I hooked up the new projector this afternoon and it blows the other one away. Thanks to Tom for all the research on the subject. The goal is to have it hooked up, mounted and ready this sunday. The new projector will allow us to use more backgrounds and the videos look much, much better. Leave feedback here on the blog to let us know your thoughts!

Not to be "that guy", but could everyone who has joined or joins the blog in the future please use their first and last name for their display name? I think it will make it easier to tell at a glance who is blogging and help out the newbies keep track. (We also have a few duplicate names...ie Tom and Tom). Thanks guys!

Propresenter Trial

I spoke with the company that makes the propresenter software (that is the software that would let us show the video on the screen that I talked to you guys about last week) and they agreed to give us a two week trial version that would not have the watermark. This would allow us to use it like a fully purchased version to see if it will work for us or if it the route we want to take. The trial should allow us to use it for two sunday services. I thought we might even try it for a couple of services and then take some sort of poll during the service or what not to see a general reaction. Let me know what you all think and when we should try it and I will wait until that sunday to activate the trial.

4-6-08 Slide Prep

I will be @ 1C from roughly 6(ish) to 7(ish) tonight to prep the slides for this sunday (4-6-08). The videos for this week are ready, I will bring them and have them on the laptop tonight! Does anyone have the laptop or is it @ the church <---I am assuming it is there!

Center for Survivors Prayer Vigil

LT, the 1C House Band will not be playing at Frankfort Square tonight, because of the rain, I'm sure it will be moved indoors. I'll have more info later today.

Welcome LT

Hey 1CLT, I wanted to invite you guys to give this blog a try. I was hoping we could use it as a means of communications that will allow us to stay better in touch and be more aware of who is doing what, when and how! I know several times I have felt pretty out of the loop. It may become necessary to create different blogs for different teams, and use this as kind of a general announcement or news center. We can (i believe) link the other team blogs off of this page. Let me know what you all think, and if this is a dumb idea let me know! (you can post comments anonymously if you want!) I am also working on a church and team calendars that I hope to link off this blog, the website or both!
